Exchange of Contracts

Well now it should be all systems go. I have exchanged contracts on the place I have purchased and I am selling the place I am living in. In theory, I should move on 14 September 2007.

Well it's not over yet. But I put in an offer. I am waiting for the finance to sort out itself. I still have forms to sign and email. I am putting my current place on the market. Need to clean it up.

Well I am getting better at searching:

1. Log into a free web site (I am currently using domain).
2. do a query, they are slowly getting more complex.
3. sift through the query one item at a time to find the ones that are open for public inspection.
4. use google maps to determine the distance from town and paddington from all of these suburbs I have never heard of.
5. if the place is open and close enough, add it to my handwritten page of places to look at.

Mistake 2: Buying the Saturday paper. I only end up with huge amounts of unread newspaper to view about 4 pages of adds. It is better to search online. Much better.

Observation 1: I have lived in many houses that are long and skinny. Maybe I am overdosed. Every time I walk into one I feel ill. My stomach does not agree with long and skinny houses.

Mistake 1: looking on Sunday. Only three places in the paper. Lesson - look on Saturday.
